Mosaic

Experience Design

Sketchup, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator

I was tasked with creating a design experience prototype stemming from my own experiences over the past year. Personally, I became restless this past year. But if I am constantly waiting for the next big thing, I will miss enjoying the mundane, and seemingly minuscule parts of our life. The goal of this project is to capture small moments and show how they make up the big picture. The prototype I landed on is a unique photo booth located at the Grand Canyon, but ideally at other national parks as well, that allowed guests to walk in the footsteps of guests before them and be a part of a large photomosaic. Upon exiting the photo booth, guests receive a postcard with the photomosaic that includes them and walk to a scenic view of the real Grand Canyon landscape.
