Hello! I’m Emma.

I believe I was created to create. To see the inherent value in each individual and design with that as my foundation. My purpose as a designer is not to simply hone my taste or get better at making things look “good,” but to learn to problem solve, to create visual solutions, and create with the people I am designing for at the center. Designing gives me the opportunity to make meaningful work through a marriage of purposefulness and creativity. My studies at SPU have taught me that design is far beyond aesthetics and much more than pixel pushing. It is thinking creatively, collaboratively, and consciously.

When I’m not designing, you can find me lifting weights, playing the piano, sailing with my family, or cuddled up watching a musical of some sort.
