Snatch Fitness Conference

September 2020 - March 2021

Brand Identity/Assets, Motion Design

Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects

I took the plunge into brand identity with this project, where I was tasked with creating a conference concept and applying visual storytelling through multiple cohesive graphic assets. The end result was Snatch Fitness, a conference to empower individuals from multiple walks of life to take hold of their fitness journies, especially during a global pandemic that limited exercise accessibility. Graphic assets included a logo, poster, booklet, unconventional marketing concept, and, finally, a motion graphic, all of which adhered to brand guidelines.

In order to create this conference advertisement, I combined motion graphics, live footage, and analogue technique. I experimented with analogue by playing with LEDs reflecting on a crinkled tinfoil pan, and various jars in front of Popsugar workout videos that heavily blurred the content. I overlaid these on top of my own workout footage at a light opacity to create movement and energy. Motion graphic typography completed the video.
